My partner had her assessment Monday. Got a text Tuesday morning that they have the report. She hasn’t got an awarded text yet but got one around 11:30am today from dwp that said “The £301 cost of living payment will be paid automatically from 25 April to 17th May. For more information search online for dwp cost of living payment”.

would she have got this if she wasn’t awarded pip? Is it a sign that she’s got it?

The £301 CoL payment isn't related to PIP. This is related to means tested DWP benefits such as Income Related ESA/JSA, Income Support or Universal Credit.

The CoL payment for those claiming disability benefits such as PIP will be paid sometime this Summner and is £150.

A decision for her PIP now the report is returned can be anything up to 12 weeks.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Ahh right ok. I just think it’s weird that she would get that text if she isn’t on any other form of support and hasn’t had the text saying pip was granted

It's not related to PIP. Are you saying she doesn't claim any other benefits? If she doesn't then it's been sent in error.

Strange. We were hoping it might be a sign she’s been granted it and she’s on the Mail out list now
