Based on that information your waiting period will be Jan to April. LCWRA starts from AP 9th April to 8th May and first payment will be 15th May. LCWRA element is £390.06/month and will be included in your maximum UC entitlement. The LCWRA element should have been included in your statement for May/June with payment on 15th June. I'm assuming it wasn't included? If it wasn't then they will owe you for 2 months, if it was they owe you 1 month. Any money owed will be paid separately.0

Thank you so much!!Thats what I thought. When I saw that May statement wasnt changed, I sent them message to double check around 09/05 asking if I need to report my LCWRA as "change of circumstances" - they told me- "no, payment will be applied automatically". When June statement was still the same, on 09/06 I asked them when my LCWRA wil be paid . I was told this: "LCWRA has been awarded from 19/02/2023 therefore the extra money will be reflected on your payment 15/07/2023 as 3 full assessment periods must be served". 2 extra months of waiting due to mistake seems to be unreasonable. How can I challenge this?

You don't need to report any changes because as you were advised it will just be included in your statement. The 19/2 suggests they are saying that's when you sent your first fit note. Are you sure it was 13th Dec you reported it?If it was definitely Dec then put a message on your journal under the payment section and tell them exaxctly when you sent your first fit note.0

It was 13/12/2022 for sure. Was submitted and accepted. I think what happened was that they didnt click on "show more" on my claim history to see that there was a fit note submitted earlier. I already sent them a message but there was no reply for 4 days, so what happens now? Whats more worrying, from what you said I wont even get paid on July- as they said- as my June statement was still the same.

You were informed by UC that it will be in your July payment but it's wrong as i advised. Did you make sure you put the message under the "payment" section? If you did then you can request the Mandatory Reconsideration on the decision not to award it from when you sent your first fit note (with first payment being May 15th)
