Have you ever used a foodbank?

Many years ago as a young adult I had a bit of a break down and stopped working and couldn't access benefits and relied on a food bank for a while.
I lost a lot of weight because I couldn't eat much of the food given (they were very limited back then, I'm talking almost 20 years ago!) but it saved my life.
I've marked this poll as anonymous so no one can see who votes because not everyone might want to share, but the homeless and foodbank thread got me curious.
The 'other' option was as I know there are other things such as food pantries or community kitchens and stuff or help from another source
Have you ever used a food bank or come close to needing one?
