Fit note for anxiety and depression

Hello, hoping someone can help me that’s in the same boat. I have been referred to the restart scheme and have an appointment Wednesday. I suffer badly with depression and anxiety to which my doctor has wrote a fit note to say I am unable to work. I expressed this to my UC journal and the woman said it doesn’t excuse me but they’ll make restart aware? I just don’t understand it? I’m in no fit state or work or attend appointments but I have to Wednesday as I’m scared they’ll sanction me. Will restart understand my condition and see me not fit to work?
Thanks

When claiming UC you’re classed as a job seeker until a decision is made on your work capability assessment. It’s a work coaches discretion to either turn off or reduce work commitments, some do and others don’t.You can ask for telephone appointments as a reasonable adjustment.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
