New to pip but old to Esa

I have been on Esa in the support group for over 10 years as I'm long term sick.I would like to claim pip but the whole process makes me sick with anxiety which is why I've put it off all these years.Is there any way that the dwp can simply check all my details that they already hold and also with my g.p?
