Favourite pizza toppings??
I'm a bit of a creature of habit and always have the same foods and I've been trying to break out of that a little and try new things or just new ways of having the same things.
SO PIZZA!!
How do you eat yours?? What is your go-to? What makes a BAD pizza?! (Does bad pizza exist?!)

Chicken mushroom and pineapple I order that every time

I am obsessed with pizza and could eat it everyday (and sometimes do!) I'm a fussy eater but I love a stuffed crust pepperoni. Need crispy chips and mayo with it too, yum.

Is that all three on the same pizza? I can imagine chicken and mushroom but never knew what people pair with pineapple. Does it stay as sweet as it is raw once cooked on a pizza?

I tried mayo for the first time this year and wish I hadn't because I'm obsessed with it with chips!!! And yep pepperoni is my go-to too, I've gone off stuffed crust but used to have that more times a week than I should admit!!! ๐คฃ

Yes it stays sweet cooked, the Italians don't like we put pineapple on our pizza but very nice indeed. My grandkids moan at me whilst say there with their adventurous margarita lol

My favourite was always ham & pineapple (Hawaiian). Controversial, I know!
Prefer a thin crust and minimal tomato sauce. Enough mozzarella cheese to create 'bite' and cover up the taste of the tomato. ๐
But preferences vary, so you may prefer a thick crust with lots of sauce!
Used to have a bit of pre-made salad with it as well, either Waldorf salad, Florida salad or potato salad.
Sadly, I haven't been able to eat pizza (or salad) for nearly 5 years now due to a change in dietary needs.

I had the same experience with mayo about 10 years ago @Biblioklept. My friend made chicken wraps and brought out the mayo. When the first taste hit my tastebuds that was it. Mayo for life!

haha I used to stick to margarita and felt very adventurous when I switched to pepperoni ๐คฃ I'm going to give pineapple a try I think, but maybe a half and half so I have my usual as a back up ๐

Oooh yeah I'm the same with the sauce, sometimes there is just way tooooo much on them, and I hate when there's too much cheese too. Does the ham not go a bit like bacon once it's cooked on a pizza?
Sorry you're pizza-less at the moment ๐ Do you know what part of it you can't have dietary wise?

Yeah try it if you don't like it can always take it off

Thin and crispy, tomato based, cheese and pineapple.
Personally, I think is just fabulous especially dipped in pizza garlic and herb dipping sauce.

When pizzas are cooked traditionally in a pizza oven, they're done at a high heat from underneath for a short time, so the ham stays soft on top. But yes in a fan oven at home it can get a bit crispy. I don't mind that though.
I can't seem to tolerate much 'grease' now. So I assume it's the melted cheese on a pizza that's the main issue. I also can't have breaded fish or chicken, or even oven chips/roast potatoes any more. So that's most of my main meal staples from 5+ years ago gone now. (Once again I've added negativity to a positive thread, sorry!)

If I have dominos take away then it's Tandoori Chicken every time, it's the best and delicious.
If I buy it then pepperoni. I do like ham and mushroom but my daughter doesn't like mushrooms, oh and I prefer tomato stuff crust.
As for pineapple, there's a time and place for that and it's not on a pizza. ๐ Eww. My grandson will eat almost anything, apart from pineapple.

Peperoni, onions and mozzarella is my go to. Sometimes I change it up with a BBQ base but once in Italy I had a stone bake with shallots, spinach and philadelphia and it was awesome. I'd give any pizza a go but have learnt from experience that there's no fish, fruit or jalapenos on my perfect pizza.

I don't eat pizza all that often but my usual order is something with lots of veggies on. I like olives, peppers, mushrooms and sometimes artichokes if that's an option ๐ don't mind a bit of goats cheese too.
One of the best pizzas I've had was a bit controversial. It was roasted broccoli, blue cheese and roasted potato slices. It also had mozzarella on it and the usual tomatoey base. I don't usually like blue cheese unless it's cooked into things, but I thought it was very tasty. Stinky but delicious!

Peppers and mushrooms, the cheese has to be a mixture of cheddar and mozzarella.

The cheddar has to be mild and rubbery, otherwise it doesn't melt properly.

Ooooh I never thought about dipping it!! I bet pizza crust dipped in mayo is delicioussssssssss! I've not tried the free garlic and herb sauces that often come with pizza so maybe I should start there!

Pff don't be silly, nothing to be sorry for, what you see as negative I saw as interesting conversation โค๏ธ Weird thought but have you tried an air fryer? I get the same about grease sometimes, but found when I do stuff in the air fryer not only is it far easier it gets rid of most of the grease. Even like with breaded chicken or chips and roast potatoes! I've found air fryer sooooo useful, much quicker than an oven, less cleaning and feels like the food is cleaner somehow ๐

Ooooh @poppy123456 I've never tried Tandoori chicken even not on a pizza so might be pushing myself too much with that!! I can't figure out what sort of taste it'll have which puts me off trying it ๐ I'm weird I know!
I'm with you on the tomato stuffed crust!! I didn't think I'd like it as I'm not keen on the pizza sauce but I tried a really amazing store bought pepperoni pizza recently with tomato crust and it was devine mmmmmm
