Israel is definitely not an oil and gas supplier.

I think it is less because Israel is an oil and gas supplier, it's more that entire region supplies a lot of oil. Conflict in the Middle East often causes oil prices to rise.

Regardless of where the oil comes from, a disruption to supply has wider knock on effects than just oil from the Middle East. The possibility of less global oil supply naturally means prices will rise.

And yes, that is indeed also bad, they can both have negative effects.
