Withdrawal
For as long as I can remember my mum has put money into my own account from her own account and I spend it on what I want and then when my benifits hit our joint account she just takes back what I owe , it's how I've always done it , recently I've been trying to eat healthier so the amount she puts in and then takes has decreased , whatever she doesn't take for what I owe her she now withdraws cash , goes on healthier food , meds , vitamins , things for smoothies , toiletries , lottery , phone , takeaways , what I owe mum and if there's anything left I try to buy a picture frame for my poster collection or a retro football shirt I also collect ..... Been reading alot recently from people saying they question using cash ?I'm only on ESA support group and lcwra I didn't think it mattered how you spend your money ?
Other worrys I have are that I had two undeclared accounts that have been closed for over five years never any savings but alot of gambling transactions from a addiction , this would also open a can of worms for a couple of PayPal's , shut just as long and same circs , never savings but alot of transactions and with all the reviews going on I'm worried something may flag up , I'm also worried about bank monitoring for the same reasons , Liz Kendall was talking about eligibility verification and I'm just trying to work out of this is just banks they will monitor data match with or will it be HMRC ,credit reports etc
I had a rest from this site because I have serve acute OCD and ruminate over everything and to be honest it was making me literally suicidal , not the site fault ,but my condition 😌
Thing is I'm on different meds and feeling better in myself and more clear in my head .... Before I was writing stuff for constant reassurance as my condition demands this of me , but I write this more for a opinion on my thinking
1. am I right in thinking withdrawal of money shouldn't be a issue
2 .am I right in thinking that as the two undeclared bank accounts were never declared that they shouldn't be on dwps system and the only accounts they should have are the ones they pay my money into , those being the only active active accounts I've had for over five years , so should match and there should be no mention of the undeclared closed accounts
3. I'm not really sure about bank monitoring and wondered if anyone had any thoughts or information about this
I'm trying alot harder to work things out for myself and not just trying to find constant reassurance from people as it becomes repetitive so I just wondered if anyone can see the logic in my thinking
Any input would be much appreciated ☺️ thank you

Welcome back.
1/ Withdrawing cash shouldn't be a problem, many people do that.
2/ Those 2 bank accounts have been closed for 5 years and they won't even be questioned. You only need to tell them the bank account where you money goes into. If you have less than £6,000 in capital you do not need to declare that.
3/ DWP have always had the ability to check back accounts if need be so that part isn't changing.

Thanks poppy ☺️.... Yeah I'm in alot better space , from what you've said my logic is sound Inc that those accounts shouldn't even be on Thier system , before I was getting these horrible thoughts that I'd get a review give them my statements and they'd say I haven't gave them the undeclared ones , but like I say these meds are making me accept logic easier ☺️....
yeah I get ya about always been able two check accounts just wondered if how they go about it will flag up old ones depending on who and what information they match , fingers crossed it will be ok .... Thanks for your help , hope your well ☺️
