PT Postgraduate study & UCL (& LCW)

Hello,
Does anybody have experience of starting a Masters and UC please?
I am currently LCW (reassessment due in 6 months); work Pt (zero hours but usually c.£280/month); receive UC with Housing Element and standard PIP. Single, no children.
Very specific, I know it won't apply to m/any but someone hopefully will know.
I will have to get the Postgrad loan which will cover the Pt Masters over 2 years. 5k fees per year so will use for that. c.2.5k left over. My question is UC - is it deducted at 30% of 5k? I read that somewhere but can't find where, on gov.uk.
Sorry, I am needing some guidance and the uni/Work Coach can't answer. I am poor at numbers and can't work out how much I would get from UC. I know I will be skint if I do this and I don't want to get into debt but it seems like a sensible option. Maybe. I know I don't sound very clear do I. Not sure if I should wait another year really to get clearer/save bit of money though is hard as low income. Nice problem to have, makes a change.
