Taking a standing frame abroad

Hi. Has anyone ever taken a standing frame abroad by plane. I really want to take ours but I am concerned about how the airline will handle it. I know we can take it as over size luggage but it doesn't fold down so its quite big. We have a lecky squiggle. How will they put it on the plane and put it on baggage reclaim. Any experiences suggestions would be welcome. Travelling from Gatwick next Saturday

    Hi, if you contact the airline itself and ask these questions, they may be able to give you some more information regarding the handling of the standing frame.
