Music gigs in a wheelchair

I run a website which is all my own reviews of venues I have been too and their accessibility. I am paraplegic and a full-time wheelchair user and would like to share my experiences with other people on how a venue really is and what could be done to improve it.
I would love people to ask me to go to some more gigs or sports stadiums or for them to get in contact with me and share their experience online!
My site is www.gig-able.com if you want a look or get in contact with me regarding your time or any recommendations you may have
Thanks!

Hi mate where in the UK are you based? I'm in London if you ever want to go to a gig.

Hey great idea, gigs have always been big part of my life. I went to Miltern Keynes Bowl other day, not overly impressed, 2 hours to get in 1 hour to get out. Wasn't that easy to get to raised platform and loos were small. Always tricky for outside venues maybe I need to cut them some slack! Was worth it!0

Hi Jgeek. Yes I was there too. The organisation of getting in was an absolute joke where my wife blew her top when trying to get to the disabled car park. My site is down at the moment as trying to change the name over to www.venuesforall.com but I am not a technical guru and having trouble. I have reviewed MK bowl but just need it published. I'll let you know when it's online!0

Thank you for sharing your website on music venues. I used to love seeing live bands, was always a mosh pit kind of girl, but since my disability have had to adapt best I can to still go out and enjoy music. Iv almost given up on festivals too, unless they are small, local ones. Excellent idea to start a website with this information.0

Hi 7Rainbows, thanks for your comment. My site is up and running now if you've already had a look at it. Yes, I used to be down the front at most gigs but most of the time I never remembered what happened! (Bit drunk) But there's no reason you still can't enjoy a night out and the bonus is you get a free ticket for a mate, got to look on the up sides of it all! John.1
