Hi Jill2013,
Sorry that we didn't have the opportunity to talk about this before your assessment. I hope that it went well and that you managed to calm your nerves before you went.
We hear from a lot of people who are experiencing the same anxieties as you.
The Independent ran an article yesterday about the difficulties people are experiencing with PIP http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/one-in-four-claiming-disability-benefits-faces-serious-difficulties-including-delays-unfair-dismissals-and-confusion-over-eligibility-10457434.html. We hear about these issues every day at the helpline. Occasionally we do hear some positive stories from people who have gone through the process without problems and are happy with the way in which their claims were dealt with.
I hope yours went well and I look forward to hearing back from you. It's good to share these experiences, the good and the bad.
Best wishes
