Hi Zoobie,
I’m not from Bridgend however I’ve come across a few general organisations that may be able to help your sister
The charity Outsiders is a good place to start, especially for general information about sex, disability and dating.
Website: http://www.outsiders.org.uk/
Email: sexdis@Outsidersorg.uk
Phone: 07074 993 527 11am-7pm weekdays
You could talk to a local disability information and advice service as they will have more local area knowledge. Disability Advice Project South Wales cover the Bridgend area, you can call them on 01633 485 865 or use the contact us form on their website: https://www.dapwales.org.uk.
Online friendship and dating websites can be a good way to meet other people with similar interests. I came across the website stars in the sky http://www.starsinthesky.co.uk/, it’s friendship and dating organisation for people with learning difficulties.
Hope this helps!

Hi Zoobie. I am having the same struggles for my brother. He has a physical and speech disability but not learning. I find, in the regular circles that people tend not to have the patience to communicate with him. I really don't want him to become isolated and decided to be proactive. Its a shame you are in Wales, otherwise I would suggest meeting up! My brother is based in Hertfordshire. My brother is 29. What is your sisters age?0

Can I help? I have no speech myself but I communicate using a Tobii which uses eye gaze technology. What exactly are the issues?0
