Hi I suffer with generalised dystonia due to a reaction to psych meds years ago. My case is fairly mild so I feel very blessed but it still affects my life in ways one might not think of. The muscle spasms and risk of falling due to balance issues are quite debilitating. I find it hard to cope with peoples` reactions. So little is known about it?

Hello. I have athetoid CP, which is similar to dystonia. I have multiple difficulties including speech difficulties but I also have difficulty with walking and balance. ditto people's reactions as well! I never know what to expect when I meet new people. happy to chat if you want. :-)
