I have a tip for you and I can’t believe I only just thought of this myself a couple of months ago!
My son Rob is 21 years old now, he is disabled because of a rare chromosome disorder and has epilepsy. I have never been able to let him sleep on a pillow because I have found his head underneath it so many times!
So only just recently, I have been putting one pillow under the fitted sheet, so he now has a nice soft pillow under his head but with no danger of suffocation. Because he also has a hospital bed that I can raise the head of, I can also raise that, so that if he has a cough for example it keeps him a little bit more upright.
