How accessible are UK sports and entertainment venues?

In a recent Telegraph article, a Brazilian sports fan and wheelchair users describes his disappointment at having to give up on attending several events he had tickets for at the Rio 2016 Olympics. The reason for this, he says, was poor accessibility at venues.
