My husband is on dla thy sent him a letter about pip

Hi @Bobby2468 - because if a DLA recipient was under 65 on 8 April 2013 then they have to re-assessed for PIP. Unfair, I know, because recipients of DLA aged 65 and over on 8 April 2013 are allowed to keep DLA.
I'm a similar age to your husband - I was under the deadline by just three months and I was re-assessed for PIP last autumn.0 -
How did you get on with the changes0

I was on DLA highest rate care and higher rate mobility. I was awarded standard rate PIP care and mobility. I am awaiting an appeal hearing. Over 60% of appeals are successful and I think I've got a good case.0
