Hello,

I'm currently a third year student at the University of Leeds studying Social Policy and Sociology (BA). I am in the process of conducting dissertation research into the closure of the Independent Living Fund, and the effect of this closure on previous users. I would really like to talk to former recipients about their experience of the closure as relates to the following areas:

• How did funds from the ILF maximise your level of independence?

• What impact has the closure of the ILF had on your level of independence?

• How was your experience of the reassessment period?

• How was your experience of the transitional period between ILF and local authority funding?

Interviews can be conducted online, and should be expected to last roughly 30 minutes. If you would like to be part of this research, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Thank you,

Ben Webster
