Pyoderma gangrenosum

Hi
Can anyone give me any advice about "PG" (PYODERMA GANGRENOSUM). I know It's something to do with my immune system, but all my blood tests have come back normal, except for folic acid.
Last year I was admitted to hospital, with serve pains, and two infections. One on my leg and one on my hand. My two surgeon's at the time, did not give me a diagnosis? And treated the infections has insect bites. I have had another four infections, on my fingers. And two months ago I was admitted to hospital again, for two more infections on my right leg. i was told i needed a biopsy, but when the plastic surgeon looked at the infections, he refused to do one. he said it looked like I had a rare incurable skin disease called "PG" He couldn't be 100%, but if he did a biopsy it would cause more damage. So now I'm seeing a skin specialist, who wants to do a biopsy? I'm reluctant for her to do this, and have refused. Can anyone help? Should I go ahead with the biopsy?
