hi all,
So the medical assessment people requested a 113form from my gp to ask about further information about my disability and illness.
I rang them on Monday to see what was happening and I was told it's all been sent back to the DWP. I've rung the DWP today and I've been told that it's been allocated to a descision maker today. But I haven't been called for an assessment.
Im trying to find advice and I can't find anything.
my mind is a mess with worry,
sorry to be a pain

Hi @cen12,
I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you've been having - it certainly sounds like a stressful time for you.
I've moved this post into our Ask a Benefits Advisor category, where @BenefitsTrainingCo may be able to offer further information.
If you have any other questions, please do get in touch!0 -

Hi @cen12
If it's gone to the decision maker that means one of two things:- either they're deciding whether or not to call you for a medical, or they're just going to make a decision based on the information they have.
If it's the latter - and it is relatively frequent that they do decide to just make a decision, then chances are they're not going to outright refuse you, as this would be quite difficult to justify without a medical.
Sit tight, and do let us know how you get on!
Kind regards,
Mary

Hello again
You have not mentioned if you receive Personal Independence payments (PIP). I hope you are, if not, Scope have some useful information on their site about this benefit. Please post again if you do not receive PIP and need additional advice and support
