How.do we know if we getting the correct amount of benefits cause social worker was meant to get someone to help us but nothing as yet seems like been left to deal with it all

I would recommend the online calculators too. If you feel that you need a face to face explanation ask the social worker again - your local advice agency may have an income maximisation adviser (or any benefits adviser) who can double check for you, eg Citizens Advice.0
