Hello Corbenivyarchie and welcome
First thing to do is put your details into an online benefit calculator.
There are two benefits that may be available to you
ESA is the benefit for people unable to work due to health
PIP is a benefit for people that struggle with the functionality of daily
tasks
There are self test for both on the B&W site
For PIP
http://www.mybenefitsandwork.co.uk/pip/indexxx.php
for ESA
http://www.mybenefitsandwork.co.uk/med2/indexxx.php
There is lots of info on this site about both so please have a look round and come back with your questions
