    I need to apply for PIP for my 16 yr old daughter  who has adhd and not sure how to fill in the form

    They have expertise and knowledge on filling out forms.

    @Roohi786, Hello and welcome, please remember that the Benefit PIP is assessed using the assessment criteria know as the PIP descriptors. I think you should take a self test on the benefits and Works site to see how your daughter would fair. Have a look at the PIP descriptors and when you fill in the form give as much information as why your daughter cannot preform the descriptor you are filling in. Your daughter will have a face to face assessment to confirm the answers from the application form and produce a report which is sent to the DWP where a decision maker will make an award.

    Hi @Roohi786!

    I understand that the PIP forms can be very complicated when you first look at them. Here is a copy of the PIP descriptors which will allow you to see what the assessor will be looking for. There is also a page which goes through each question and shows what you a possible answer of what you could say.

    It is always useful to seek face to face advice. This can be done through Citizens Advice or AdviceLocal which allows you to see the closest place to you.
