You know because I cont work am I entitled to income support I have had to stop work.

For most people IS doesn't exist anymore, if you have had to stop work due to ill health it would be ESA,

Right do I just receive money or any think

So how can I claim ESA if I have not got enough credits or anything would I be able to pay some national insurance so I can be eligible for esa

Hi @marcushodgkiss93 I think you have asked this question on other threads. You need to maybe do a benefits calculator to see what benefits you entitled to , or get advice from CAB or welfare rights.

It is hard for us to give advice without knowing all of your circumstances eg living arrangements, savings, if you live with anyone, reason for leaving work and such/

It says universal credit but I don't like it's there not fair

I am not fit to work I cont work with my asthma and my sleep apnoea makes me breathless and cont walk with out aids and then class you as fit for work no way

You can still be assessed as not fit for work on UC it is either LCW or LCWRA you will need to provide med certs and have work capability assessment to determine this

What you mean by a medical certificate

A sick note from your doctor saying you are not fit to work

Then at the assessment they get you to do things and I cont not with my legs gives me pain and also keep getting up and dow hurts me and makes me out of breath

You can refuse to do anything that causes you pain 

I'm sorry I dont know what else to advise you if UC is the only benefit you are eligible for I dont know what else you can do 

Like I have said you need to get some expert advice

Do you know if I would be eligible for disability premium how would I know I have ask no one seems to know

Hi @marcushodgkiss93, here is the criteria:

Eligibility

Disability premium payments can be added to your:

• Income Support
• income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
• income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
• housing benefit

You usually need to be eligible for the disability premium to qualify for the severe or enhanced premiums.

If you get income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) you can only get the severe or enhanced premium.

Use a benefits calculator to check your eligibility.
