Cheese scones

Ok, so first batch of 3 scones is cooked and next is in oven (I only have a small Lidl oven, the main oven blows the fuse anytime I use it).
followed a BBC good food recipe for sweet scones, left out sugar of course.
mistakes I made: did not put in enough salt, I used unsalted butter for a change and boy I can tell, I did not need to add baking powder, the self raising flour was fine on its own, the cheese was too mild and does not come through in the scone apart from the crusty top of course where it is delicious.
serve hot, plenty of butter, why did I buy unsalted again???
