Remaining politically neutral during General Election 2024

Under guidance from the Electoral Commission and Charity Commission, it's important that Scope remains politically neutral during General Elections.

While we understand that this period will see many passionate discussions and do not want to discourage open discussion, we cannot allow discussions which are purely intended to influence voting.

As ever, please make sure that your comments remain respectful of other people's opinions and keep to our online community house rules.

The thread below is staying on page 2 of the forum even after a new comment is added, we've had this problem before but in this case I find it a bit odd ?

Thats what I thought at first @janer1967 but it doesn't say "thread closed", but if it's up for review it proves that scope cannot take constructive criticism which would be a shame.

Had a look at the settings and it seems to have been a minor glitch of sorts, which can happen with this platform. Just the other week it was sending duplicate notifications.

Same thing happened just the other day with a separate thread.

I've had a fiddle and it hopefully should be appearing now, so I will be closing this discussion as it will have served it's purpose. Thanks for flagging @woodbine

Please, if and when you notice an issue on the community, it makes it far easier and quicker to resolve if we are alerted via the report function.
