Hi, my name is rchrissy! Does PIP stop or change when you turn 64?

I know that you can’t apply for PIP if you’re over 64. What happens when you reach 64? Does the benefit stop or does it change?

    Hi if you are already in receipt of PIP when you reach retirement age which is 66 then it will remain in place the same . It will still be subject to reviews

    You can apply for pip up to state retirement age, eg for me that is 66. you can have an award which takes you past retirement age. If you have no pip award which takes you pastt retirement age you can apply for Attendance allowance.
