I'm with Mike on this one though, I feel some of these threads are giving a bit too much information away.  All I'll say is that I'm a Millennial, which shouldn't be a surprise to anyone lol!

I'm interested to know which of the recent threads you think are asking for personal info? I can only see threads asking about your favourite possession, favourite food, interesting things you have done in your life, etc. Just a bit of fun and stuff that likely could quite easily be found out with a bit of sleuthing anyway if people were that interested/that way inclined. 

I would class personal info as things like your name, your mother's maiden name, your address, or personal photo - things I would not consider sharing online myself or asking others to share.

I am wounded to think that people may think I have asked for personal info, if any of my threads have indeed pushed the boundaries then I do apologise!

   I for one don't think you have asked for anything personal, giving my age out won't tell you my real name or where I live. I am never going to post a photo of myself nor give out any info regarding my private life. Keep up the fun threads @woodbine they make me smile.

I don't think there's any malicious intent by the questioners on here at all...it's more that these things can be used altogether.  Your age gives away your birth year for example.  A picture of your cat 'snuggles' could be a password for another site or a memorable information...  Town you grew up or favourite holiday destination could also be used. Individually there's not much people can do, but it all adds up.

Of course there's never a problem with being protective of your details and information online, but if we felt as though any of the threads posted lately were asking for information that was too private we would close them.

So don't worry @66Mustang, from our point of view all of the recent threads are completely fine, but obviously people are welcome to participate as much or as little as they'd like. 

I'm apparently gen Z, I'll give you that much as a clue

Out information is all over the place any way banks elecrol role parcel deliverys  government  shopping delivery's  putting your card in a cash machine  Internet shopping our details are every where even when you claim benefits  so giving your age is just a bit of fun  any one fet your details from the IP address thst you use on here ?
