Hi Janer1967
Thank you for your message.
I went to several councils. Nobody helped me.
-
I also went to Shelter who were no help at all.
-
Can you look for private rent or see if any other homeless organisations around
-
I have been looking at both of these options for long time.
No one at private renting is interested nor other homeless orgs. -
Try contacting your local mp they may have some influence

Hi @Sarah2120. Welcome to the community
I'm very sorry to hear about your difficult situation.
Are you legally homeless? You may be legally homeless if:Do you live in England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland?- you’ve no legal right to live in accommodation anywhere in the world
- you cannot get into your home, for example your landlord has locked you out
- it’s not reasonable to stay in your home, for example you’re at risk of violence or abuse
- you’re forced to live apart from your family or people you normally live with because there’s no suitable accommodation for you
- you’re living in very poor conditions such as overcrowding
In England, your council must help if you’re legally homeless or will become homeless within the next 8 weeks.Read more on this gov.uk page.
You can also get help if you’re homeless in Scotland, help if you’re homeless in Wales or help if you’re homeless in Northern Ireland.
What exactly did Shelter and the other organisations for homeless people say? Did they give a reason that they weren't able to help?Online Community Coordinator, she/her
