Happy 1st of December!
It's that time of year again, where Christmas is only around the corner, and what better way to get into the festive spirit, than to share some Christmas fun over the online community forum, with all our wonderful members .
I must admit, I am a big Christmas fan, and
consequently, love anything Christmas related. With that being said, I've
changed my online avatar and if you feel comfortable to do so too, then that
would be fantastic. However, there is no pressure, as I also realise not
everyone celebrates Christmas or enjoys it as much as I do.
The avatar can be anything Christmassy, whether it be an elf, present, or snowman. Whatever takes your fancy . If you do change your avatar, then comment below, so we can see all the different images!

I like Christmas too but am a bit nervous about it this year
I changed my avatar to a Christmassy one that still manages to have a Mustang in it1 -
@66Mustang, that's a great effort and I'm impressed that you could still get the Mustang into the picture
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling slightly nervous this year. I think a lot of people will be, given the nature of Christmas and the environment that we are all in at the moment. Is there anything in particular that you're feeling nervous about?0 -
Hello hello, I've changed mine so I'm flying with The Snowman!
Ah @66Mustang that's definitely a great way for Father Christmas to do the rounds on Christmas Eve, very classy!
I agree with @Libby_Scope, I don't think you're alone in feeling apprehensive about what might happen. Do you have much planned for it yet? What kind of things would help you feel less nervous?0 -
It’s not so much COVID making me nervous, it’s that we will be having a family member staying who doesn’t have the best mood and I find any kind of conflict or upset really hard to deal with. This person really calms down after they’ve had a drink, they are actually very good company when they have a whisky or Prosecco inside them, so I guess one coping method is to ensure their glass is never empty!
PS I like everyone’s Christmas avatars so far0 -
As I like penguins, this one has returned again this year.1

Wish he was this little now1

@chiarieds and @janer1967 great pictures1

Ah I see @66Mustang, that's understandable, conflict can be very unsettling, and it sounds like you have a plan, not that I encourage excessive drinking, of course!
It's always good to know what helps people feel happy, is their anything besides alcohol you could try? Do they like games, or do they have a favourite thing to watch on TV?

They enjoy watching the soaps and stuff like the dancing on the TV, the rest of us don’t really watch TV so that’s an easy one I guess - we can let her watch what she wants with no arguments over which channel to put on!1
-
It's good to see the penguin make a return @chiarieds!
Yours is adorable @janer1967 I expect that's how I'll look after my Christmas dinner.0 -
@janer1967 and @chiarieds, both of your pictures made me smile!0

Aw that's lovely and I'm glad that you're getting to see your family on the day. Do you have any Christmas traditions with your family? I do, thank you. I will be spending it with my partner's family, which will be really nice. They really love hosting and always put on a huge food spread, which is always a plus!0 -
Hey @Libby_Scope, glad your going to have a nice time, as for traditions, not really just lots of good times with family, good food good company,1
