This is my first time on here.plus i am a technophobe! Bare with! Are major screaming melt downs for long periods of time  & unable to placate/ soothe 8month baby boy, prem, emergency ceasarian, sepsis, possible cp - is this a symptom ? Emotional & behaviour issues? Its not teething. Anyone else experience of this please. Extremely stressful & disruptive for sibling. Please help. Thankyou. Worried Grandma 🙏

    Hi @Grandma1
Thanks for posting. The behaviours you have mentioned can sometimes be present in a little one with CP but not in every case. What is he like when it comes to feeding/winding. It is common for babies and young children with CP to experience swallowing diffulties and reflux. This could be causing him discomfort. Have you spoken with his paediatrician?

Hi @Grandma1 well done for reaching out here on the forum, I hope Richard's reply has helped to reassure you.

I would echo in asking if you've spoken with his paediatrician? How is your grandson doing today?

Just to help our members find your post more easily, I've made it into a separate discussion in the CP category, and I've added a title.

Please do keep us updated with how everything is going, and if you need anything please don't hesitate to ask.

It very much sounds like your grandson is in some discomfort. Reflux is not nice for us adults who can express what we're feeling.
