    Thanks for sharing

What are your thoughts ? Don't know how Boris and others can brush it under the carpet

Interesting that Boris is going on a visit to Eastern Europe this week, that aside I'm not sure how or if he can survive this, but time will tell, seems that the keywords are "lack of judgement and leadership".
I'm certain there isn't a carpet big enough to sweep this under  B)

Sadly I wouldn't be so sure - it is so frustrating to be bystanders to all this knowing that it comes down first to decisions by Tory MPs and then, if BJ goes, to decision by totally unrepresentative Tory members to decide who the next PM is. Complete and utter .....

Watching the session in the commons everyone being very vocal but all Boris is saying is to those wanting his resignation is that we have to wait for the full investigation

And his leadership has brought about the fastest vaccination programme

He isn't going anywhere till he is pushed

If I'm honest I think I would on balance prefer Boris to stay in office, he has the potential to make even more mistakes between now and the next election in 2024, and hopefully make himself and his party unelectable.

They say a week is a long time in politics two years is almost a lifetime.

We do of course have a by-election this week following the murder of Southend MP Sir David Ames, the main parties are not fielding candidates as a mark of respect, still be interesting to see if the tories lose bucketfulls of votes.

We all knew he was a serial liar before he was elected, he’s made a career out of it. Tory party members still chose his as their leader.

I think those of us who were affected by lockdown in very personal ways are seething that those who made the rules broke the rules, as an example SM didn't see her mum (in the care home) for month after month, and then as we were allowed more visits she died a few weeks later. There are many people with similar stories, a friend of ours his dad died in the early days of the first lockdown and they were limited to 10 people at the funeral and they have a big family.

Calcotti  I first met borris Johnson when he was a normal mp he came to Brecon I was working at boots and dropping off prescriptions to the drs not far from where I worked I had my uniform on my name badge saying I was a pharmacy advisor and borris Johnson spoke to me and said here is a working woman in the heart of brecon and then asked where I worked  there were a group of people watching and they all shouted out boots lol and I said there's your answer so to me he wasn't  interested in the people only that it made him look good

he will also also be looking for battles which he knows he can win but look good. Beware the meek.

@woodbine The other time was the Blair Cash for Honours debacle, I don’t know what the other was a hundred years ago though.
