What do you do when you're just feeling rubbish and a bit sorry for yourself? How do you help yourself get out of the feeling?
I've felt unwell last couple of days and just feel fed up with everything as a result.

Sorry to hear this @Biblioklept, hopefully you feel better soon :)

I tend to make a lovely cup of tea and do something that will help to relax my mind like listen to music, listen to a funny podcast or watch something on TV.

What do you tend to do?

Just sit and dwell on it until I feel better which I know isn't the smartest so hoping to get some good ideas. Can you suggest a funny podcast to try?

Usually an old classic TV programme cheers me up, otherwise I like to watch trip reports or documentaries on YouTube.

I feel exactly the same @Biblioklept, it started Saturday and I’ve felt worse every day, including an upset stomach and loud tinnitus. The only thing I can say is ‘all things shall pass’. It’s the wonderful thing about impermanence, you can bank on it.

“This is my simple religion. No need for temples. No need for complicated philosophy. Your own mind, your own heart is the temple. Your philosophy is simple kindness.”

I also tend to just let it pass sometimes. I wouldn’t say it’s “not the smartest” unless you let it get the better of you.

Other things I do is try to do things I enjoy, like go for a walk or a drive, to cheer myself up.

I have also been unwell for the last couple of days. Also had  chest x-ray today. Now in a heap on the sofa. I usually read a book to take my mind off things.
how did the xray go? Hope you feel better soon and that results are good <3
