They're probably developing a greater understanding of each other and as such can offer more support especially emotional!
It's too hot

At least the plants like it and also that it’s not too cold.
I only put one beer in the fridge but I fancy a second one.0 -
You've saved on calories not drinking it and your liver is probably thanking you!
I've had the same song stuck in my head for days0 -
At least you will know the lyrics well!!
My ears are blocked.0 -
At least you can't be annoyed listening to people talking
The tat man hasn't picked my toaster out side up0 -
Someone might think it's for sale and buy it!
My delivery is coming at 7am tomorrow so I have to get up early.0 -
At least you will have the excitement of your gift arriving
The house work looks daunting0 -
It'll feel so much better once it's done and that satisfaction feeling is hard to beat

Sometimes it's nice to be awake with the moon! (Hope you managed some sleep though @leecal)
I've been awake since 40 -

A family member was nasty to my mother last night and made her very upset.0 -
It's good she has family and other people such as you around her.
(Seriously though, I hope she's okay?? Family can be a blessing and a curse!!)
I really fancy a burger but have nothing even resembling a burger in the house.0 -
@Biblioklept yes I think she’s OK thanks, the person apologised but she is still a bit upset about it.
You could make a burger from scratch! It’s raining today.0 -
The grass could do with a drink after the heat from past few weeks!
Glad your mum is okay, sorry the person was nasty to her. Is it the grumpy relative you had staying?
I've done a load of washing already today and still have a basket full of dirty clothes0 -
It wasn’t the grumpy relative, no, it was my sibling who no longer lives at home but my parents still do everything for him including giving loads of money (it’s well into a 5 figure amount now). He just seemed very ungrateful and rude. Most of the time he’s alright but it is not uncommon for him to treat my parents badly and they usually just brush it off but yesterday it was too much.
At least you will have some clean clothes, and at least you will have something to do later or tomorrow!!!I only received half of an order I placed online.0 -
That's so sad and must be really horrible for your mum to have her child be mean to her. It's good they didn't just brush it off because maybe it's first step to addressing issue with him
Sorry you only received half your order!! What was it for?
Edit: I forgot the point of the thread Positive to only receiving half your order...
Uhm... You ... err...
OH it'll give you time to really realise whether you need or want the items at all
My problem: My towels are all wet from washing them and I need a bath1 -
@Biblioklept yes that's exactly what I said to my Mum about it being good not brushing it off as it shows him that it's not OK to behave like that. If she carried on just brushing it off he would just carry on the same way.
The rest of my order arrived just now lol it was some bedding, some socks and some hot chocolate (I had to spend a certain amount to get free delivery, I was £4 off and delivery was £3.99 so I bought the hot chocolate for £4.50). So basically I got it for 51p, in my mind anyway.
Hmm not sure about the positive to that problem either. Maybe you will find some towels you didn't know you had?!
My dog always begs for food when I'm eating.0
