£150 council tax question

Sorry I've a question. :(
I don't qualify for the £150 council tax thingy because my home is band E but there is meant to be a discretionary fund for those on a low income in bands E-H.

I asked my council about it and they replied today saying there is no date for them to use this discretionary fund or guidance on how so they're still deciding and to keep checking their website for information as it will be published there "in due course".

Does anyone know anything more specific? I figured it would have the same guidance dates as the main payments.

In my LA said they're giving those in band E-H the £150 if they claim CTR but it didn't state when it will be paid by.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

That's just my LA, the rules for yours maybe completely different. They all have their own criteria for bands E-H.
That's quite harsh capping help like that!

I don't understand why they do it, I'd be entitled to a fair amount of council tax support if they used my actual council tax rate rather than capping it at band D. Council tax is a real struggle and is my highest bill by far. It feels like it's so high because it's new build which is unfair

Shouldn’t make any difference. CT is based on the notional value of the property in April 1991 (if you’re in England)..
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.
