Our thoughts and prayers must be with this boy and his family, they are now seeking permission from the high court for him to be moved to a nearby hospice.

They have fought a long hard battle to keep him on life support and it now seems that battle has been lost.

It is not the natural order for parents to bury their children but sadly it does happen, they are all in my thoughts tonight. x

Hi @woodbine, I agree with you entirely. There have been several cases similar to Archie Buttersbee's, I remember the fight Charlie Gard's parents put up.
It's so sad when young lives are lost. Every parent's worst nightmare...

I agree it's so sad, I think every one would try and keep him alive if it was their son.

Really feel for his family - bless them x

Very sad indeed and I don’t wish that pain upon anyone but I do think they need to decide what sort of life that boy would have if he ever pulled through.
    Wouldn’t wish that upon anyone.

I have been following this mainly on twitter, where drs reports are and the details of the court. Reading those reports, I can't see how the boy will survive the trip. Plus I don't think a hospice will be able to cater for him. As sad as it is.

I've been following this too. Yes, it's very sad and i can't imagine what his parents are going though. I think there comes a time where you have to put the needs of a child before anything else.
The high court rejected the appeal to move him to a hospice. The family have until 2pm to appeal that decision, which they are going to.
I just feel that there comes a time when you have to stop and think what would be the best thing for him.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Glad to hear you are ok @Lisatho11987777. Sounds tough that you were in the same position 26 years ago though.

I can hear how you would want (and expect) things to have progressed since. Not least with how important it is to you and all the campaigning work you have done around it!  <3
