I'm right handed hubby writes with his right but eats the opposite ie his knife in left hand x
I never knew that how you hold knife/fork was left or right handed! So with knife in left hand is the left handed way?
Generally you hold your knife in your main hand.

However, I learnt via my partner that in the states it's the opposite way. Your fork goes in your main hand. Little cultural differences.

Forks weren't introduced until fairly recently in evolutionary terms.  Before that, you would hold a lump of food in your non-dominant hand and use the knife (which has been around for millennia!) to cut it with the strength and precision of your dominant hand.  When forks came along, they were just naturally used in the 'empty' hand.  I didn't know it was different in the states.  :)

I'm left handed (or sinister, as we used to be called) I have a left handed mouse for my PC now.  But I eat right handed, play guitar and bass right handed, but played drums left handed.

I can write right handed, but my handwriting is shocking with either hand. :D

Haha so is mine!! I never thought about the mouse hand, I've always used my right but that's possibly because gaming tends to be set up that way (W, A, S, D being on the left and mice being designed for right handers)

@Biblioklept I have the mouse on the left side, but the buttons are still configured for right handers.  W A S D can get really annoying for a lefty!
