LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.
What date did you report the health condition?
Were there any gaps in handing in Fit Notes, any that were backdated etc?
Do you claim with a partner who gets LCWRA or have Transitional Protection on your claim?
Finally what is your UC assessment period or payment date?

Is your Assessment Period 1st to 30th of each month? I'm having trouble working it out from your payment date as I've not come across one before which doesn't cross two months 😊

yes from the 1st of the month assessment period starts

Thank you, as I said that's a new one on me 😊
So my estimate of your waiting period would be:
October: Partial Assessment Period, not included for LCWRA waiting period.
November:AP 1
December: AP 2
January: AP 3
February: Eligible for LCWRA element.
7th March: First LCWRA element paid
If LCWRA is missing from your most recent statement (February AP), you are currently owed 1 month LCWRA element.
Should it not be on your next statement for March AP (they do need time to process the decision), you will be owed two months.
Money owed will be calculated separately and this usually takes several weeks at least. You'll know this has been done when a letter is added to your Journal confirming the amount they owe you.
You'll then receive the money into your bank account several working days later.

There’s no LCWRA on Feb or March its just the single element

Your 1-30 March AP statement won't be available yet.
I've done the estimate to the best of my abilities, and my estimate is you are eligible for LCWRA element on the 1-30 Feb Assessment Period which is paid on 7th March.
Perhaps they haven't had time yet to process the decision.

No, as I advised LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that waiting period.
Was 23/01/25 the correct date that you were notified of the decision?
Are you absolutely sure there were no gaps in handing in Fit Notes, any that were backdated etc?
It's the date they were handed in that counts, not the start date written on them.

Unfortunately as you had a gap in Fit Notes, my previous timeline in incorrect, gaps in Fit Notes effect when the waiting period starts from.
I'd estimate your timeline is now:
December: Partial Assessment Period, not included for waiting period.
January: AP 1
February: AP 2
March: AP 3
April: Eligible for LCWRA element.
7th May: First LCWRA element paid

ah right ok will I be entitled to any back pay

No, as I advised several times LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that waiting period.
The start of your personal waiting period was delayed due to gap in Fit Notes.
