Help about state pension

Can anyone help please I am getting my full state pension end September 2025 I will be 66 i have paid in 48 years But I am on enhanced pip mobility and enhanced pip care so someone told me to try n claim pension credit on top is that right ? I have phoned pension credits and done the claim by telephone but they said they cant look into it until my 66th birthday

Yes you can claim pc,they will process it after you turn 66 and it will be backdated upto 3 months.

So when I am 66 they look into it but it takes 3 months for them to sort ?

My neighbour applied for it and it took a month for her to get it.
She got a month back pay.
