Reclaim severe premium quickly

Hi
If originally received a severe premium payment then lost it due to having a full time carer ...if you was to lose your carer how quickly can you reclaim your previous severe premium payment .are you allowed to ?

The SDP is paid to you because you receive middle/ high rate DLA care or receive the new PIP care.
Have you been reviewed yet for pip?
If someone is claiming carers allowance for you and this person can no longer do this job, I would think you need to contact the dwp and tell them your circumstances have changed? But a benefits advisor will probably see this and help you out.
As long as nothing has changed then you retain an SDP as an underlying benefit,
When the carer benefit is closed you should then be entitled to have the underlying benefit paid

From being on UC I thought they reduced it if you claimed carers allowance?
UC is a bit of a minefield with different rules.
