Do a Mandatory reconsideration and question the Assessors report and and the DWP decision.
Good luck -
Hi steve and welcome
First you need to request a copy of the assessment report
You have a month from the date of your decision letter to ask for an MR
DLA and PIP use different criteria for an award and it is important to understand the points system, descriptors and criteria.. Not everyone who receives DLA will qualify for PIP
Have a look at the B&W self test

There is a Mandatory Reconsideration letter tool which will generate a letter for you.

Could you afford to buy a car? Some dealers will give five years interest free credit on new car purchases. -
Hi @steve426, and welcome to the community! It's great to have you here, and I really hope we can help you.
You are a member of our community and we appreciate you. If you are having thoughts of suicide, it is important that you discuss them with someone who is qualified to help. Please call the Samaritans on 116 123 (free) or email them at jo@samaritans.org. You might also benefit from reading MIND’s information on how you can help yourself. If you feel that you may be an immediate danger to yourself, please call 999 or go to your local hospital right away.
As the others have said, do think about doing a mandatory reconsideration. You can find more information on the process, and appealing DWP decisions, on Scope's website, and please do come back to us with any questions- we'll do our best to help.

@steve426 You are not alone. There are many people on this forum and elsewhere who are upset with the decision they receive after the initial assessment. Try and get help and if you could turn your strong feelings into positive action as suggested above it would help you to turn things around. How much evidence did you supply? Can you get more to support what you have told us about? It's not just evidence from your GP or Specialists but you can write a diary for a week of how your conditions affect you on a daily basis, get a physio report, appointment reports from the mental health services. I asked IAPT for copies of reports sent to my GP after I'd had hour long consultations, think outside the box and send what you can with a letter for a Mandatory Reconsideration. If still unsuccessful remember that you can continue to ask DWP to look at your claim again right up to Appeal if you need to go that far. They have to keep reviewing claims while ever you keep asking and sending in more evidence. Don't be fobbed off. Good luck we're here for you..

Hi Steve, don't let them beat or destroy you. The same is happening to me, I could well lose my car. Fighting of thoughts of' my life isn't worth living also. Of today to see a therapist, start of my fight back. Please do as Pipa says, look for help. You doctor would be a good start. Stay in touch with the group, some of the craziest are helping me to stay sane. When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

@steve426
Many assume that because they got DLA, automatically they will get PIP. But the criteria differ. You have to show how your disabilities fit the relevant PIP descriptors. Disability Rights UK site has a good guide to all aspects of PIP including the descriptors and a draft diary.
Try to get some local f2f advice from CAB or similar.
If you have to go to appeal, 69% succeed! Like many others, my PIP mobility was increased from standard to enhanced by a Tribunal. -
thanks for all the advice been to see doctor today hes going to send my medical reports going to ring cab now for apointment and going to draft a letter to pip asking for mandatory review i need to keep fighting thanks

Good luck that is what have MR just waiting for the decision, im not hopeful they will change the decision. Looking on here its been a eye opener treat people so bad.
-
It's hard enough coping with disability but grossly unfair to have PIP stress on top. But we must stay strong and keep fighting as it's worth it in the end.
-
Very true im fighting its unfair to all of us so stressful.
