There are special benefit rules for people with terminal illnesses- Marie Curie has some great information on these, including how to apply. Have a read, and please do come back to us with any questions. -

Yes, definitely apply for PIP. Ask your medical practitioners to issue you with a DS1500 form and send it with the PIP form.
There are normally Macmillan advisers associated with hospitals who can sort this kind of thing out for you, but if you want to do it yourself, you can just call PIP on 0800 917 2222 and get a form.

Hi so sorry your going through this .I was in a similar situation. After my sick pay ran out I then claimed esa p.I. p with no problems at all .I hope they treat you with kindness and respect xxx
