I got 9 points. How long before I get my back pay?

Hi there, I received a telephone notification saying that I have got 9 points on care so I will be entitled to the standard rate care. They said it will take a few days for the letter to come out to me. How long do I have to wait for them to pay me my back pay?

Received my arrears three weeks after decision was made but it can take longer.
