Are you claiming  contribution based ESA or  IR ESA?

If you're claiming Income related ESA then you're partner moving in would affect this. If you're claiming Contribution based ESA then your partner moving in wouldnt affect this. If you're not sure which one you're claiming then it will tell you on a recent award letter, or you can ring DWP and ask.

Any housing benefit and council tax reduction could be affected too.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

    Hi @kiki
Would your partner be moving in as a carer?
