Hi,There's no timescales even in N. Ireland. It all depends on the backlog in your area. There's nothing you can do but wait unfortunately. Most people have face 2 face assessments, so expect one of these. Good luck.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

There's really no time scales. Here in the UK some wait a few weeks while other wait months after returning the form.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I’m in the UK and was told by the charity that helped me fill on my forms that I would know within 6 weeks of them receiving the form whether I’d have to have a f2f, well it’s now over 7 weeks since I had the text from them stating they’d gotten my forms and 13 weeks since I made my first call to apply so I’m in limbo too

I think some areas have serious backlogs. Mine was done in 10 weeks start to finish, from phone requesting back to decision but I’m in scotland. Whilst I appreciate There are no firm timescales, it does seem to vary depending where you are in the U.K.
