Just 48 hours after assessment and DWP have received written report?

This seems rather quick.  My girlfriend's assessment was Monday, but it's now around the same time as her assessment Monday, and the DWP has sent her a text saying they've received the written report.

Is this bad news?

No no it means that you may get your result award letter a lot earlier than most people, ring up DWP and ask for a copy of your acessment report they usually arrive before the award notification letter, they take about 14 days to arrive once requested, and once you have it reading it will give you a good indication of what your award may should be, if not then you can look over your report and see where the accessor has mis reported.

Thanks Wilko.  Am I able to phone on her behalf, as she's very introverted and anxious?

If you're not her appointee then she will have to answer the security questions first and then tell the person you're going to be speaking on her behalf.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

    Thanks, Poppy.

What do you make of the turnaround time on having the report back with the DWP after just 48 hours?

It means nothing other than it's be returned, some are returned quickly and others aren't. It's not a good or bad thing.

I'm not sure why because the report being returned within 48 hours means absolutely nothing.

Another example of the DWP sticking two fingers up at the MOJ and not submitting their documents within the time frame allowed.
It's a shame that the claimant can't cite the DWP's disregard to rules when and if thee claimant decides to be lax in sending paperwork to the DWP.

Miss the 30day limit they put on claimants for return of documents and you end up having to argue before a Tribunal. Not return the PIP2 form within the period the DWP stipulate and they shut down the DLA claim if it is transfer case.
I have no idea what this has to do with the assessment report being returned to DWP after 48 hours of the face 2 face assessment.

I’ve just got a copy of my report and it’s absolutely accurate, the only thing that he has put that has upset me is to be reviewed in 18 months based on my mental health (which I have suffered with for 12+yrs) I also have several physical disabilities which are lifelong chronic conditions, no cure :(

My question is, if I do MR for the length of the award will I still get what they’ve award me (looks like enhanced for both!) or does the award stop? If that makes sense. Advice needed xx

They will look at the whole award again and not just the length of the award. You really do need to get further advice before asking for the MR for the length of the award.

If the decision goes with the report then yes you'll still get your money while waiting for the MR decision.

So you have the report but not the decision?  Did you phone up for your report?  How long after your face to face did you receive your report?

You have to ring for a copy of the report yes and it can take anything up to 10 days providing they send it to you when they're asked.

Will this affect their decision if my girlfriend, in their mind, is "well enough" to ring up for the copy of the report so soon after the face to face?

@poppy123456 the report itself is absolutely fantastic. Although it has reduced me to tears reading it, I am so happy he with it. I blew the point system out the water, it’s jusy his recommendation of the award length that’s upset me. It should be longer. Although I haven’t actually had my award letter yet, maybe they will award me longer? xxxx
