Hi all :-)
My name is Ash and I am a third year student at Northumbria University. I am currently undertaking research looking into access and the experiences of wheelchair users/those with mobility issues in the city centre of Newcastle.
I was wondering if anyone located in this area and knowledge/experiences of the Newcastle city centre would be willing to have a chat/casual interview either face to face/on the phone/emails to discuss their experiences.
Let me know if you would be interested in this :-)

My son is a student at the other uni there and is a power chair user. I'll ask him if he's interested. What are you studying?

This would be great! Thanks so much. I’m studying human geography!

HI, yes my son is interested. Not sure if this forum allows email addresses or whatever so not sure how contact can be made, however face to face would probably be best/easiest for him. Email ok but not phone. He does not have speech but uses a communication aid, and loves to get around!

That’s great, thank you so much. Face to face would be fine. Is there a way I can message you via this in order to arrange something? Let me know what is best for you :-)

Lets see if this is allowed here! weeherdy@gmail.com (that is me)
