Hello @nf1150 Filled it out questionnaire. Pleasure to meet you. Why do you have problems with jars and tins.?
Simple trick all jars are sealed with air in the manufacture process.
So hit the lid on the unit of your kitchen. Just a tap. Then the jar should open. Might take a few goes.
Use a tea towel or damp cloth then to wrap around the lid. To remove easier to do. Avoid any spillages do in the sink. Remove the washing up bowl and add a bowl careful now . When opening pour contents into a bowl.
Another option is to wear rubber gloves give the jar a tap then take off the lid with the rubber gloves. I have fingers hands issues so have used both. Gives me some extra grip.
Ring pulls twist off carefully and use electric tin opener to cut around. Holds the tin on a magnet.
Buy on line. Use Amazon .
Or turn upside down and use other end . Remembering to not to remove ring pull. Leave that other wise spillages if removing.
Done a lot of volunteering kitchens and have gained loads of little tips and tricks. Happy to help any body with any problems or solutions.
Hope that helps you or any body.
Take care
