No, you can't claim them both as i previously advised you. You also have your WCA soon for UC.

That's right everyone as a health assessment to see what group they will be put in . Truth is everyone wants to end up in the support group because it pays more money and you get less hassle that's the reality pure and simple1

so I woukd not be able to come off uc and apply for esa.... I know but my letter has to be bk for the 14th of jan so god only knows when they are going to bring me in for assesment... and yeh ot beats trying to survive on fifty pounds a week0

If you get LCWRA under UC this pay more than ESA contributions based Support Group.

Hello Bevvy on uc you'll get bout 73 quid in the work related groups if you get put in support group it's bout 110 that's why they make getting in the support group difficult. I find it all insulting to be honest it's like a crime to be ill0

its ridiculous... just not sure how long ill have to wait to go for an assessment because it says my paper work has to be in by the 14th jsn.. I know, I got knocked off pip this year, previously I had been on dla for years0

Hello Bevvy mine took about a month after I filled the esa50 form until my assessment mate . Worked all me life over 40 years I'm 63 until cancer . It's left me mentally and physically tired there's no human touch with these people. You get total strangers judging people who are goin through tough times along with there families I might add . I had penile cancer now if that's not bad enough for a bloke of 63 I got assessed by a young girl how the hell could she no how my illness effects myself or others to . There's a lot of people worse off in the world and God bless them it just seems when your in a dark place and at a low ebb in your life people like the Dwp couldn't give a toss .1

Everyone has to wait for the WCA, you're not the only one. For UC if you're given LCWRA then there's a 3 month waiting period. LCWRA extra amount is paid until the 4th month from the date you sent your first fit note. If it goes over that time then you'll be back dated the money owed. Don't forget to send evidence in with the form.@clarkjohnson bevvy is claiming UC so the amounts are different and it's paid monthly, unlike ESA which is paid fortnightly.0

Well it's still the same however people are paid it still comes down to being judged0
