In 2019, we want to celebrate our wonderful Community Champions and so each month, we will be giving one of our champions the new Community Champion of the Month badge.
Community Champions are our team of volunteers who are the friendly, welcoming face of our community, they work with us to make our community a safe, supportive space for us all. They give up their time freely to support us all and we are so honoured to have them all on board.
This month, we would like to give a very special thank you and the new Community Champion of the Month to our @poppy123456
Poppy has offered so much support to so many members around benefits and finances and we are so grateful to her for everything she does for us. THANK YOU @poppy123456
From next month, we will be asking you all for your suggestions for who should be our next Community Champion of the Month. Every one of our champions is so special to us and I know how special they are to all our community members too, so I hope you join us in congratulating them each month this year.

Hello @poppy123456 Congratulations on your much deserved award.
I have learnt so many new things from you. In the complexities and sometimes bewildering world of benefits.
Thank you for guiding me and sometimes correcting me.
Hope long may it continue.
Take care.

I've only just seen this To say i'm shocked is an understatement! Thank you all so much! It means a lot!I'm only trying to pay back the help i receive. There's a lot of people out there that have very little understanding of this ridiculous benefits system we have. Only to be made even more complex with the arrival of the much hated Universal Credit.I learned my knowledge over the years by using google while i claiming both PIP and ESA myself. All i want to do is help others claim the benefits they deserve, or at least do as much as it's humanly possible on an internet forum. You've all made my day today and it's not often something like this happens.Thank you to you all for asking me to be a community champion and for all your support!Take care, everyone!! xxxxxxxI would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
